ADCARE Audit – Allergy and Immunology Unit, Instituto da Criança do Hospital das Clínicas da FMUSP
This centre is part of the Dept. of Pediatrics at the University of São Paulo, run by Prof. Ana Paula Castro. It is based in a large hospital setting, in fact the largest in South America. There are separate Atopic Dermatitis clinics offered on numerous days of the week. There is a perfect interaction with other specialist clinics, for example in pediatrics, ENT, pulmonology and dermatology. The hospital is an important referral hospital in the general medical system here in Brazil. A nutritionist is on-site and food provocations are performed.
