Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona
The ADCARE audit of the Dermatology department at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona took place on 22nd November 2018. The Head of the Department is Dr. Luis Puig Sanz and deputy and responsible for the urticaria and atopic dermatitis clinics is Dr. Esther Serra Bladrich. After a delightful extensive walk through the department, which is set in a new building within the characteristic Hospital Sant Pau, the facility has everything needed for the high standard of treatment of atopic dermatitis and urticaria patients. Treatments include phototherapy, allergy testing, for both type IV and type I allergies and interventional possibilities including the modified Mohs-surgery or histopathology on-site. The team here is very dedicated and highly engaged. There is a strong interdisciplinary collaboration and the center meets all the ADCARE criteria to be certified. Congratulations!
