We are delighted to welcome onboard the GA²LEN ADCARE Network, Prof. Carsten Flohr and his team at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London.

St John’s Institute is the largest Dermatology Department in the United Kingdom. It has over 60,000 patient episodes per annum, with an unparalleled tertiary referral base, which includes the adult and adolescent dermatology services based on the Guy’s Campus but also the Department of Paediatric Dermatology at St Thomas’/Evelina Children’s Hospital.

St John’s Institute of Dermatology has national services for adults and children with severe atopic dermatitis. Just one of their excellent AD programs is the Eczema Education Programme (EEP) which was developed in 2009. The EEP is an educational intervention that provides training and support to parents/carers of children with eczema (age 0 -18) in order to help them manage their child’s condition more effectively.

Congratulations to Prof. Carsten Flohr and his team for joining the GA²LEN ADCARE Network.
